Charlie's 1st Birthday Invitations

It doesn't seem like it's been a year since sweet Robert Charles (Charlie) was born into our family.  He may technically be my second cousin, but not once have his mom and dad addressed me that way.  As far as we're all concerned, I'm Aunt Kendra.  That may not be a big deal to a lot of people, but since I'm an only child and don't have any brothers or sisters to give me sweet little nieces or nephews to love, knowing I hold that title with Charlie just makes me beam with pride.

I was asked to create some invitations for his John Deere themed 1st birthday party and I was so excited to create them.  You'd think I get to do things like this all the time for my own family ... but there haven't been many big events lately, so this was quite a treat.

Charlie's invitations are two layer party invitations printed on a bright white cardstock and mounted on a metallic brown backing.  The envelopes were ordered to match and I also created a custom wrap around address label to complete the set.

Charlie, I can't wait to celebrate with you and watch you grow.
